This is Alice. And all her passwords. Heimlane Vault protects them in a single vault… …and only Alice holds the key. She has just one master password to create and remember. It creates her unique encryption key, on her computer. Trying to guess it would take longer than the age of the universe. That is her vault's level of security. A strong master password makes a strong vault. The golden rule: NEVER forget it. Heimlane doesn't know it, and it can't be reset. If it's forgotten, the vault will stay locked forever. Everything is encrypted on her devices. Then stored in her vault, unreadable. No one else can read it, not even Heimlane. In her browser, the Heimlane extension makes it easy for her. She types her master password to unlock the extension. One click, and the fields fill in automatically. Two-step code? Filled in too. And on her phone, too. Her items are available, decrypted on her phone. For the whole family, up to six people. Everyone also has their own personal vault. A Family Vault shared by everyone. And a Parents Vault, just for them. Each member has their own personal key. Each person's key opens what is theirs. For anyone else, everything stays encrypted.
