Site icons next to your logins

Overview

Website icons show a recognizable image (the site’s favicon) next to each login, so your items are quicker to scan.

Where it applies

  • In the web vault, website icons are always shown.
  • In the browser extension and mobile apps, you can turn them off: go to Settings > Appearance and toggle Show website icons.

Privacy

To show the right icon, Vault uses the website addresses (URIs) saved on your login items to look up the matching icon. No information about you or your vault contents is collected or stored when this lookup runs.

Tips

  • A missing icon usually just means the site has no published favicon; it does not affect autofill.
