Deleting a Password Entry

Remove credentials from your vault

Overview

Remove credentials you no longer need from your vault. Deleted items go to the Trash first, giving you a chance to recover them.

Steps

  1. Find the entry you want to delete
  2. Click the options menu (⋮ three dots) next to the entry
  3. Select Move to Trash
  4. Confirm the deletion

Recovering Deleted Items

Items remain in Trash for 30 days before permanent deletion:

  1. Click Trash in the sidebar
  2. Find the item you want to recover
  3. Click the options menu (⋮)
  4. Select Restore

Permanently Deleting Items

To immediately and permanently delete:

  1. Go to Trash
  2. Select the item
  3. Click Delete Permanently
  4. Confirm - this cannot be undone

Bulk Deletion

To delete multiple items:

  1. Enable selection mode by clicking the checkbox
  2. Select all items you want to delete
  3. Click Move to Trash in the toolbar

Tips

  • Review Trash periodically and permanently delete old items
  • Deleted items still count toward your storage until permanently removed
  • Zone owners can configure trash retention policies
