What is Heimlane?
Heimlane is a European cybersecurity vendor. Its platform, Heimlane Prism, combines three products: Vault (business password manager), Realm (bastion host for privileged access) and Scout (security assessment). Everything is hosted in France and Germany.
Where is my data hosted?
Exclusively in the European Union, in France and Germany. Your data never leaves the EU, and the platform is built GDPR-compliant by design, with zero-knowledge encryption for vault data.
How do I buy Heimlane for my business?
Through our partner network: Heimlane is 100% channel for businesses. Request a demo with us, then get your quote and deployment through the partner of your choice. If you don't have a partner yet, we'll introduce one.
Can I use Heimlane Vault personally?
Yes. Heimlane Vault has personal plans, including a free tier, with the same zero-knowledge encryption and European hosting as the business product.
Does Heimlane help with NIS2 compliance?
Heimlane Prism maps directly to NIS2 identity and access requirements: credential management with Vault, privileged access control with Realm, and posture assessment with Scout. See our NIS2 compliance solution page for the detailed mapping.

Pricing & payments (Heimlane Vault)

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe, our secure payment processor.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes! You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. You'll continue to have access to premium features until the end of your billing period.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes, you can change your plan at any time. If upgrading, you'll be charged a prorated amount. If downgrading, the change will take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Is my payment information secure?
Absolutely. We use Stripe for payment processing, which is compliant with the international payment processing standard (PCI-DSS). We do not store any payment information.
Can I order Teams or Business plan online?
No, this is not something we plan to offer. We work exclusively with our Partners for B2B sales. Please reach out to us directly so we can find the best partner for your needs together.
Can I pay via PayPal, Western Union, or other services?
No, we only support online card payments through Stripe.
Can I pay using bank wire transfer?
Our Premium, Premium Plus and Family plans are only available via online checkout. For businesses, payment terms are agreed directly with our channel partners.
Can I pay in cash?
No, we only support online card payments through Stripe.
I am a partner, can I purchase online and resell plans for individuals?
No, this scenario is not possible. Please contact us so we can discuss the best possible way to enter partnership.
